Can I pay for SAT registration in Nigerian Naira (NGN)?
The College Board only bills directly in US Dollars ($111). Nigerian applicants pay using a USD Virtual Card (from platforms like Chipper Cash, Geegpay, or Barter), a Nigerian Bank Domiciliary Card (Mastercard/Visa), or through authorized education bank payment channels.
Can I use a National ID (NIN) or WAEC ID for SAT registration in Nigeria?
No. The College Board strictly mandates a valid, unexpired International Passport as the only acceptable primary form of identification for test-takers in Nigeria.
When is the deadline to register for the SAT in Nigeria?
Regular registration closes approximately 3 to 4 weeks before each test date. Late registration closes approximately 2 weeks before the test date (with an additional $34 late fee). We recommend registering 6 to 8 weeks early because Nigerian test centre seats fill quickly.
