Requirements FAQ

Why is an International Passport mandatory for Nigerian students taking the SAT?

The College Board enforces stringent test security globally. For international test-takers in Nigeria, an unexpired, government-issued International Passport is the only authorized primary ID document. NIN slips, voter cards, school IDs, and driver’s licenses are NOT accepted.

Can I take the Digital SAT on a smartphone or Chromebook in Nigeria?

No. The Bluebook™ testing app runs on Windows laptops/tablets, MacBooks, and iPads meeting minimum OS versions. Mobile phones, Android tablets, and non-school-managed Chromebooks are strictly prohibited.

What if my passport expires before test day?

You must renew your Nigerian International Passport through the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) prior to test day. You cannot test with an expired passport.
