The 5 Core Phases of Taking the SAT
1. Register & Select Test Centre
Create your College Board account, choose your preferred test month and local accredited centre (in Nigeria or internationally), and complete your online fee payment.
2. Download & Set Up Bluebook™
Install the official College Board Bluebook app on your testing laptop or iPad. Log in and complete your pre-exam setup 5 days before test morning.
3. Test Day Check-In & Verification
Arrive at your test centre by 7:30 AM with your physical International Passport and printed paper Admission Ticket. Doors close strictly at 8:00 AM.
4. Complete the 2-Hour Adaptive Exam
Complete Module 1 and Module 2 of Reading & Writing (64m), take a scheduled 10-minute break, and finish Module 1 and Module 2 of Math (70m).
5. Receive Official Scaled Scores
Scores are released online in your College Board account typically within 13 to 14 days following your Saturday test date.

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if my laptop loses internet during the SAT?
The Bluebook app is engineered with offline resilience. You only need Wi-Fi to start the test and submit at the conclusion. If internet drops mid-test, your timer and test progress remain completely uninterrupted.
Can I bring my own calculator or do I have to use Desmos?
You can bring an approved handheld graphing/scientific calculator (e.g. TI-84 Plus, Casio fx-991EX) or use the built-in Desmos graphing calculator provided directly inside Bluebook.
